Pony Days 9am - 4pm

Our Pony Days will be starting from May 2023, we will have selected dates available through the spring/summer.

These are for children between the ages of 6 - 10 years old.

(max height - 1.4m / max weight - 45kg)

It is a fully packed day from 9am - 4pm where the children will learn all there is to know about caring for a pony!

Parents/guardians will need to fill out a health & safety form at drop off (9am) please allow time for this.

Parents are welcome back from 3.30pm for our award presentation before the day finishes at 4pm.

Some  fun things they will do through the day:

* Mucking out

* Making feeds & Haynets

* Grooming

* Tacking up

* 60 mins riding each (hacking out)

* 60 mins gymkhana games with the ponies  each

* Play time in the park for lunch

* Poo picking

* Rosettes & Certificates

* Bathing (weather permitting)

 Children should arrive with: A packed lunch, drink and clothes you don't mind getting dirty!

 ( please note hat hire is included in the Pony Day price ). 

Jodhpurs or long comfortable trousers are best to ride in. Gloves and appropriate clothing for the weather, long hair must be tied back, low enough for a hat to be worn, with no grips or clips. 

Comfortable boots that can be worn all day.

Please make sure children are wearing sun cream before arrival if its going to be a hot day.

We ask you not to bring nuts or products containing nuts to site at any time to protect those with allergies.
